Japanese 210: Ken-ji's story

ケンジさんは昔、電機メーカーの技術者だったそうだ。
Kenji-san wa mukashi, denki-mēkā no gijutsusha datta sō da.I heard that Kenji used to be an engineer at an electronics manufacturer.
奥さんは五年前に亡くなったらしい。
Okusan wa gonen mae ni nakunatta rashii.It seems his wife passed away five years ago.
「一人だと朝が長いから、ここに来るんだ」と言った。

Watashi ni totte, Kenji-san wa Tōkyō no ojīchan no yō na hito da.To me, Kenji is like a grandfather in Tokyo.
